Generally, the service visit was prompt after scheduling however felt the pricing was excessive after researching typical garage door repairs - for a situation where your car is 'stuck' in the garage, you are really hostage to the service being done sooner than later - I feel it was 25% higher than 'market' - also the 'upsell' was off putting - the 'upsell' was framed by creating 'potential fear' for future failures if the higher service products were not purchased. I was particularly displeased that the tech sprayed lubricant on parts of the door which the overspray covered half of my Lexus in the garage - I just spent an hour and a half washing and removing the lubricant from the car prior to writing this review. The tech could have asked me to cover the car, which I would have done rather than hear after the fact his apologizing for his mistake. Probably won't use you again.

Precision's response to my broken garage door opener was fantastic! They were here the very next day!! Evan, the installer, did a perfect job of explaining the issue(s) and was careful to give me information about ALL of the alternatives. No hard sell! Once we decided on a course of action, Evan quickly removed my defective garage door opener and replaced it with the one that I had chosen. He ensured that it performed flawlessly and then explained how the operation differed from my previous opener. Evan is the perfect representative of Precision -- personable, knowledgeable, professional and efficient. Should I need assistance with my garage door and/or opener in the future, you can bet that I'll call Precision!! Thank you!!

When I returned from being out of town, my garage door would not open. It was a broken spring. I searched for a local company that was local and I found Precision and their credentials met my needs. Evan S. came by and confirmed my problem. He gave me my options and explained the benefits of each. It helped me make an informed decision of how to repair my garage door. He also made suggestions for future issues to watch for. Evan was very polite and friendly and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. We were very pleased with his work, and YEA! our garage door opens!

Hi there. We were so grateful for Precision for answering our call. Evan came out and communicated when he was coming over and when he was here. That should be common, but we’ve experienced some very unprofessional companies here. Evan was polite, explained everything clearly, let me know exactly what was going on and explained why my garage door wasn’t working. And problems to look for in the future. He suggested, not pushed, other services to me and I appreciated that. If we ever have an issue with our garage again, we will be calling Precision.

The gentleman that came and gave us a quote was nice and professional. I ended up getting another quote from another company that was half the price. I got the springs, bearings, a couple brackets and the rod all replaced in the amount of money that I was quoted from you just for the springs themselves. Unfortunately, I don't think I will call you again.

Precision installed our last garage door opener purchased from a big box store. When our motor quit this morning (with the door open) we needed help fast. I didn’t realize it was over 10 years old! Precision came out in less than 2 hours, presented our options, answered our questions, and installed our new LiftMaster quickly and efficiently. All the bells and whistles were easily explained. Precision did a great job. Our service tech Evan was fantastic. He explained all the options to us and was very honest about what was and wasn't necessary. There was no pressure to buy anything we didn't need which was great. Plus the service was super fast. All in all our garage door went from being broken to almost brand new in about an hour and a half.

The tech was 2 hours late! Was told tech would arrive between noon and 2 pm, he arrived at 4 pm. Had to call the office twice to find out when he was going to arrive. Once he arrived he was knowledgeable and worked fast to repair the door. Repair charge was costly. In my opinion too high and I feel that the charge should have been reduced, my time is as valuable to me as your labor is to you.
