Job done professionally and and completed in 45 minutes. I have a business and understanding making money. I think $90 per hour is fair compensation. Was curious when there was no service fee to come out and charging $229.00 ($32.00 highest $ on line) garage door sensors is laughable after paying $90.00 for 45 minutes and I say 1 hour adding transport time. I negotiated $250.00 after a quote of 389.00 since didn’t want to leave for a day with wife leaving town not done or would have ordered part at $24.00 and done myself. They did good work but will not use them again. I think the hourly rate should be sufficient without gauging the parts

I thought the price of my repair was just to much money

I was very pleased with your service, but I was shocked with the bill of 676.56 dollars for replacing a broken spring , even with the AAA discount.

You’re employee/contractor was great! Excellent young man. But I have no doubt that I paid double the price I should have. You were ridiculously expensive. If the young man wasn’t as nice as he was, I would have stopped him and found someone else.

I selected this company based on the BBB rating. They responded quickly to my inquiry on line, and were able to set up a same day appointment. The technician was friendly and professional. He also made sure I understood the operation of the equipment. Unfortunately, I later found out on line that I could have bought this unit for almost half what I was charged. But, I was in a bind and needed it replaced quickly.

Please remind your tech's to wear their mask. It's not ok to assume they can approach potential clients without one. The customer should not have to request for tech to put on a mask Not cool! Too much happening from mistakes like this.

The technician Ray Smith was very knowledgeable, friendly, thorough and on time. He performed the repairs to my garage door in less than an hour. My only disappointment is the astronomical mark-up for the parts used. My total bill came to a little under $600, $400 of which was only 2 wires and 2 bearings the you can buy on Amazon for less than $100 total. I am very grateful for Precision’s promptness and expertise but the up-sale of materials used is ridiculous.

Service was outstanding! Cost was okay for those parts needed but $500 worth of equipment that was NOT necessary installed without any indication of the additional cost. Told that two springs were safer than one ($250) and that plastic rollers were better than steel ones ($150). Almost unethical to suggest those "improvements" and not state the added cost. Actually, I asked about the cost associated with the rollers but was told he didn't know off hand.

I got an estimate for a single spring replacement of $149 from your phone person. When the tech called me from the jobsite, he told me I needed both springs because the old one would likely fail beside the new one and that the springs were $199 each not $149 because of the door weight and spring wire size needed. I did not really believe that as the door is a cheap builder grade door. In the end I went with 2 springs to end what was becoming a lengthy although friendly argument. Also, I was not onsite as this is a rental property. I felt going into this that it was going to be much more than I anticipated, and it was. I see complete new 16x7 ft doors installed for $600-$700 in the Valuepac coupon mailings I get every month, so I find it difficult to understand how 2 springs can cost $400.

Had a coupon for %15 off with AAA card and was told I could not use it. Not happy at all about this as the coupon stated was for repairs. Felt like this was false advertising.

I was happy with the salesperson who arrived on time and did a thorough job showing me my options. Although, I liked the samples I saw, I did not see a roller sample. The rollers on the 16ft. door are much smaller (not as good a quality) than the ones that were on the older door that was replaced. The installer arrived with the wrong door for the 16ft. door. He had picked up a 15ft. door, which was on the pickup order, not the original order. So I had to wait an additional 3 weeks before they could install it. The installer did a good job, making sure the doors were a tight fit, with no light showing on the sides.

Prompt, professional, and friendly service but way, way, way too expensive for emergency calls. I felt taken advantage of because I was in a desperate situation with a garage door that would not go down in a home missing a door from the utility room to the garage.

Their weekend service availability was very convenient, but beware of their pricing. They told me I needed a door reinforcement for my opener (which I agreed with) and that the cost was $200. I quickly learned after they had installed that the exact part they used was readily available from multiple vendors for $25 or less and it took about 5 minutes to install. I questioned the installer and also emailed customer service about the excessive price. All I got back from customer service was "thanks for your feedback - we will use this information to improve in the future". You are at their mercy when they start telling you what needs to be done - educate yourself the best you can or you will get taken advantage of. I had one broken spring on a door that was less than 5 years old and ended up with a bill for $872.

Service was great but I think $2100 was kinda steep for a garage door opener replacement. I should have shopped around.
