Evan arrived at the expected time. I told him there was a loud pop when garage door was closing. He did a complete inspection, replaced lag bolts as needed, made sure the other lag bolts were secure, replaced (2) damaged hinges, found roller in wrong slot in the hinge, re-tensioned the springs, lubricated required places. Yea! No loud pop when garage door was closing, and quiet! Evan listened to my concerns and explained the what and why as he did each service. Very friendly and very professional!

Their website says it all "Garage Doors don't break during normal working hours" because that's certainly what happened to mine. I loved the ease of booking an appointment and they honored it 100% with timely communications and arrival. It was great to receive a picture of the person I should expect at my front door! Evan was engaging, professional, and a great communicator. He explained a technical solution to my situation in words that made sense and helped me decide the best option. I've already told at least 6 friends about the experience. Hopefully they won't need to call but if and when they do, I think they will remember Precision.

I called to have a belt changed out on my opener this weekend. Immediately upon arriving the technician stated that I needed a whole new rail assembly with the belt because my old one had a different channel(T) which is what the new rail is. After installing the rail, I was told after the tech started to look at the motor I was informed that the motor and everything had to be replaced completely. When asking questions and concerns the tech seemed to get a little defensive and I told him I only wanted the belt replaced. I have been excessively overcharged for work and parts that I did not need.and I have had two other door companies look at the situation and both confirmed I just needed a new belt. It seems by some of your companies reviews that this is very common practice trying to convince the owners that everything is broken. I am willing to discuss with your owner about making concessions to the cost and charges. If not I will fill a complaint with BBB and look to pursue a complaint in local courts. We had a garage door issue on a Sunday morning. So we called Precision Garage Door. Evan showed up within 2 hours of us calling. Diagnosed the problem and got things back in order within an hour and a half on a Sunday. Evan was well versed in his trade, and explained everything he needed to do. And he made sure we were comfortable with any work that needed to be completed before he started. Great job!

The tech was 2 hours late! Was told tech would arrive between noon and 2 pm, he arrived at 4 pm. Had to call the office twice to find out when he was going to arrive. Once he arrived he was knowledgeable and worked fast to repair the door. Repair charge was costly. In my opinion too high and I feel that the charge should have been reduced, my time is as valuable to me as your labor is to you.

Generally, the service visit was prompt after scheduling however felt the pricing was excessive after researching typical garage door repairs - for a situation where your car is 'stuck' in the garage, you are really hostage to the service being done sooner than later - I feel it was 25% higher than 'market' - also the 'upsell' was off putting - the 'upsell' was framed by creating 'potential fear' for future failures if the higher service products were not purchased. I was particularly displeased that the tech sprayed lubricant on parts of the door which the overspray covered half of my Lexus in the garage - I just spent an hour and a half washing and removing the lubricant from the car prior to writing this review. The tech could have asked me to cover the car, which I would have done rather than hear after the fact his apologizing for his mistake. Probably won't use you again.

Precision's response to my broken garage door opener was fantastic! They were here the very next day!! Evan, the installer, did a perfect job of explaining the issue(s) and was careful to give me information about ALL of the alternatives. No hard sell! Once we decided on a course of action, Evan quickly removed my defective garage door opener and replaced it with the one that I had chosen. He ensured that it performed flawlessly and then explained how the operation differed from my previous opener.
