My brother brought his first home that had significant issue, one being the garage door. Unfortunately we hired a handy man to install a garage door opener who installed it wrong which made things 10 times worse with a failing garage door. Precision came out and fixed the brand new garage door opener. We also had to make several repairs to the door. The technician took his time explaining everything to me and worked with me to fix the most needed items and getting the quote down as lowest as he could to get the door functioning perfectly and buying us some time until we can do further repairs. After having to replace HVAC, a water heater, and fix the garage door all in the same day, precision was the first one to actually try and find alternative solutions knowing we couldn’t afford the first quote. We will certainly have Precision come back out in two-three years when the entire door will need to be replaced. Thanks for making an already horrible day somewhat manageable. The honesty and integrity shown by their tech is something I haven’t experienced with any other contract. He truly cared about the end result and not trying to make us pay for unnecessary repairs.

Tech arrived twenty minutes after the two-hour arrival window without comment about missing the window. Quoted me over $2,600 to repair a sheered torsion rod. I declined and received a quote by phone from another provider for $800.

I called Precision Garage Door and was able to schedule an appointment for the very next day. They charge a $70 service fee for diagnostics, which is waived if you go ahead with a repair over $100. Eduardo arrived on time, was friendly, professional, and quickly identified that my garage door opener needed full replacement — the repair would’ve cost more than a new unit. He worked withbmy home warranty provider to explain the issue and recommended solution. He walked me through several opener options, though I did feel the prices were on the higher side. Once I approved the work, Eduardo completed the installation within an hour. Overall, I’d recommend Precision for their responsiveness and service — just be sure to compare pricing before committing.
