My garage door wouldn't open. (Turns out there was something in front of the sensor). Technician told me one spring was about to break and needed to be replaced. And I should replace the other at the same time. $500 for one and $800 for both. I paid for him coming out and opted not to replace the springs. Called an individual garage door repair man and he said you can't tell when a spring is about to break. For $125 he made adjustments to the tension because of the weight of the insulation on the door. Your technician was trying to scam me!

Called for service to repair damaged bracket on the door where the automatic opener connects. Scheduled for the next morning. Technician came and had everything needed to install a bracket to shore up the damage and replaced the automatic opener in about 2 hours. He also helped set up the door app on our phone. I chose precision door partially for their no up charge on weekend service, and partially from their ratings. One of the five star ratings they had received was from an old friend of mine. I will second his rating of five stars! They were able to schedule me within two hours of my call and Tyler, the technician was a little early. He diagnosed the problem and had it repaired in a little over an hour. He was punctual, professional, and courteous. He knew exactly what was needed for the repair and did it in a very short time. I would highly recommend precision door and Tyler!

I asked for a bid only that was supposed to be free of charge. The technician was efficient to quote a price. A short time later, I receive an invoice by email, i.e. implying that I had placed an order. I most assuredly did not place an order yet as the quote has to be approved by my insurance first. I'm still waiting for the correction of the problem by email.
