My Viking sliding gate opener would only open 1 foot and then close. It is 15 degrees outside! I called at 10:50am and Drey called me at 12:36pm to let me know he was on his way, that's a total of less than 2 hours!!! Drey was SO polite, professional, knowledgeable, & let me know exactly what needed to be replaced, but also made the gate work for now. He is ordering the parts and will let me know when he receives them and come back to replace. WOW, all of this in 15 degree weather. I HIGHLY recommend Drey and Precision Garage Door Service, that is A+ and #1 service. Thank you!!!

Generally, the service visit was prompt after scheduling however felt the pricing was excessive after researching typical garage door repairs - for a situation where your car is 'stuck' in the garage, you are really hostage to the service being done sooner than later - I feel it was 25% higher than 'market' - also the 'upsell' was off putting - the 'upsell' was framed by creating 'potential fear' for future failures if the higher service products were not purchased. I was particularly displeased that the tech sprayed lubricant on parts of the door which the overspray covered half of my Lexus in the garage - I just spent an hour and a half washing and removing the lubricant from the car prior to writing this review. The tech could have asked me to cover the car, which I would have done rather than hear after the fact his apologizing for his mistake. Probably won't use you again.

I called Precision with a concern of unable to close my garage door, at 4:00 and was promised that a technician would be out before 6:00 pm. I then received a call at 4:30 stating that Chris was on his way and would be here within 45 minutes and he was right on time. He gave me a quote and stood by his quote. I chose precision door partially for their no up charge on weekend service, and partially from their ratings. One of the five star ratings they had received was from an old friend of mine. I will second his rating of five stars! They were able to schedule me within two hours of my call and Tyler, the technician was a little early. He diagnosed the problem and had it repaired in a little over an hour. He was punctual, professional, and courteous. He knew exactly what was needed for the repair and did it in a very short time. I would highly recommend precision door and Tyler!

Evan, the installer, did a perfect job of explaining the issue(s) and was careful to give me information about ALL of the alternatives. No hard sell! Once we decided on a course of action, Evan quickly removed my defective garage door opener and replaced it with the one that I had chosen. He ensured that it performed flawlessly and then explained how the operation differed from my previous opener. I asked for a bid only that was supposed to be free of charge. The technician was efficient to quote a price. A short time later, I receive an invoice by email, i.e. implying that I had placed an order. I most assuredly did not place an order yet as the quote has to be approved by my insurance first. I'm still waiting for the correction of the problem by email.

I called Precision Door at 10:00 AM today. They promised service between 10 and 2 (same day). Logan called about 10:30 AM and said he be here at 12:00 noon.
