I made an appointment and Carlos came to the rescue. He was very friendly and after informing me what he needed to do, I agreed. He is a hard worker and was very thorough with not only replacing the spring with a double spring system, but looking over the rest of the door for other problems. I appreciate the quick service. However, I said when I called I needed some screws replaced that had fallen out and caused my garage door opener to not close all the way. The technician arrived and wanted $335.oo for diagnostic services. I balked at that because it was unnecessary. The guy charged me $151.00 to replace a screw and left. This was unreasonable and I feel ripped off.

Our 40+ year old Genie / garage door broke. (outlasted Sears, didn't it!) The tech arrived within 2 hours which I appreciated as I had just come back from a medical checkup. He did his best trying to repair while keeping the parts replacement to a minimum. He ended up having to replace the motor and belt-track along with the springs, drums, cables and roolers. I tried to reassure him we didn't blame him for the old motor... the company still gave us a good price on the new replacement motor with a great warranty. Clean-up was efficient.
