I contacted Precision Garage Door to install a smart opener I had bought from Home Depot. We scheduled an appointment and Chris came out to install it. Chris arrived on time, was friendly and professional. Chris swapped out my existing opener with the new one and installed all the sensors, new keypad and wall opener timely and efficiently. The cost was reasonable and the service provide by Chris was outstanding!

I requested a repair to my garage door. A mechanical part was making a loud noise immediately when the door was opened or immediately when the door closed. The repair man showed up on time. He adjusted the chain. He asked if I wanted him to lubricate my door. I said yes. He sprayed lubricant on each of the joints of the garage door. He put grease on the bottom of the track that held the chain. The noise went away. Two days later, the same mechanical noise came back. I sent my Ray Smith, the owner an email that said I had a problem and needed to speak to someone. I got a reply from Christie and she gave me a phone number to call. I called and spoke with "Brittany" (I think that was her name). She said she would have to refer my request for a refund from a manager/supervisor. She said they would call me back. At the same time I asked for a quote for a replacement garage door opener and the cost of installation. Without asking me what model/manufacturer I wanted, she quoted a price and she told me that she did not need my information. The price was more than $300 more than the price I had just determined for the unit and installation at Lowes. I said I would wait for a manager/supervisor to call. On Oct 3rd I send an email back to Ray Smith. I stated that if I had not heard from a manager/supervisor by 5 pm on Oct 4th.... regarding my refund request, that I would submit a negative review about his company. No one called or emailed.

Sunday morning, I drove into my garage, parked my car, and pushed the down button for my garage opener. The garage door completely fell off onto my car. I called my local garage door service, but they wouldn't come out on a Sunday even though my car was stuck under the door. Honestly, I just randomly chose Precision but am so happy that I did. The tech arrived, took a look at the door, and said that he needed assistance. Another tech arrived soon, and they put things back together. My car wasn't as badly damaged as I feared, and the techs sent me an estimate for a new door. I wil always use Precision. They are wonderful.

Not happy at all. I feel like I got majorly ripped off today. $260 to mount the track back on the wall?? And my garage door opener doesn’t really work 100% still. The guy knew it when he left and his suggestion was to replace it. This should have been a $100 at most. Won’t ever recommend and telling people to not use your services.

They immediately found the problem and made the repair along with completing a maintenance checklist on both garage doors. The service was great and the technician were very informative and friendly. When I made the appointment on the phone the schedulers were completely professional and very pleasant. The technician who serviced us though was very arrogant, dismissive and frankly did not seem to have a lot of knowledge. We had universal remotes that said they were compatible with the brand of garage doors we have. He told us they wouldn't work. Then when we pointed out on the box that they were compatible he seemed surprised but then agreed. We have used a different garage door repair company in the past and will be going back to them. When we asked if he would program the remotes he said yes, then shot back at me, "it's $50 a door per remote." That would have been $400 to simply program the remotes. The other company always did it for free. We will not be calling again.

Our Precision Door tech today, Joey Boeglin, was truly fantastic!! He started by calling to confirm we would be available a little early. Great start. Then he explained what he could do to try to troubleshoot without gouging the price. Another great one.
